Arbutin is an extremely effective skin lightener and antioxidant that is made from the bearberry tree. Arbutin is a natural alternative to skin lighteners such as hydroquinone that have been associated with dangerous side effects. Arbutin avoids side effects and odors. Shea Butter, a natural moisturizer and skin tightener, is derived from the nut of the karite tree of West Africa, where it is commonly used in soap. Shea Butter promotes healing and regeneration of the skin and protects it against ultraviolet light and against drying, cracking, burning and wrinkling.
